Eupatorium perfoliatum (Eup-per.)

Eupatorium perfoliatum (Eup-per.) appears in 65 rubrics in the Repertory. Of these, three are single rubrics in which only this remedy appears, and three are small rubrics with at most two other remedies.

Delusions about the body

With nine rubrics, Delusions is the most frequent main rubric. Three single rubrics describe delusions about one's own body: that exhaustion cannot be endured, that a coal sieve has been inserted, and that the body feels heavy and will fall. One small rubric records a long distance walked.

Restlessness and domination

Restlessness is recorded in six rubrics, as is Moaning, groaning, wailing. Fear, Sadness and Sensitivity follow. Domination by the father is recorded in two small rubrics and in one rubric on ailments from domination.

Summary

The picture combines delusions about one's own body with restlessness and lamentation. Domination by the father forms a separate strand that appears in the small rubrics. The single rubrics carry the picture; the remaining rubrics are often shared with many remedies.

All rubrics of this remedy, the materia medica and the case work are in Rathmer’s Repertory.
